What days do you deliver?
Manawatū – Tuesday and Friday.
Wellington Central and Kapiti Coast – Monday and Thursday.
Petone, Lower and Upper Hutt – Monday
Order cut-off is 5pm the day before delivery.
If I set up a subscription, what day will my food be delivered?
Manawatū customers: If you set up a subscription on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday your order will be delivered on Tuesday’s. If you set up a subscription on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday then your order will be delivered on Friday’s.
Wellington customers: If you set up a subscription your order will be delivered on a Monday or Wednesday depending on our drivers availability.
Everything is packed up fresh and work on a 5pm the day before delivery day cut-off.
Do you deliver to rural addresses?
As we are still a small business, we can only currently deliver to rural addresses on the very outskirts of towns in both Manawatū and Wellington. However, our aim is to deliver local produce to as many people as possible, so please reach out to us if you would like to shop with us but live remotely and we will see what we can do. It helps if you know of neighbours or friends in the same area that would like to shop with us as well, to combine delivery efforts.
Do you plan to increase your product offering?
The short answer is YES. We want to provide a platform for a range of local producers to connect with local consumers and have access to the same distribution and convenience markets as the big supermarkets. If you are a local producer and would like to sell your products through Local Food NZ please get in touch and let’s make it happen.
How much is your delivery fee?
Currently, our delivery fee is $5.00
Once you have selected your product you will be charged a delivery fee on the “Checkout” page on our website.
Are your Organic Free-Range Eggs Certified?
Yes, we are audited every year by Asure Quality. This is to ensure we abide by all the strict guidelines and protocols that are required by Asure Quality. We are also audited 4 times a year by MPI to make sure we are taking great care of our hens.

How can I update my Subscription Payment Details?
Under your My Account If you click on Payment Methods on the left sidebar, you will be able to update your payment details on your account.
NOTE: Updating payment method will NOT update pre-existing subscription payments.
To make sure you have properly updated your subscription payment, you should click on the “My Subscriptions” tab, and click “Change Payment”.
